Overview

prooompthub ("we", "us") provides a web application and Chrome extension that help you engineer prompts for AI tools. This policy describes what we collect and why.

Account data

When you create an account we use Firebase Authentication. We store your user ID, email address, and profile fields needed for the product (e.g. display name). Payment providers (e.g. Razorpay, PhonePe) process subscriptions; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Prompts and usage

Text you submit for prompt engineering is sent to our API and may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate results. If your plan includes history, engineered prompts and metadata (AI target, domain, tone) are stored in our database. We use daily usage counters to enforce plan limits.

Chrome extension

  • Authentication: When you sign in on prooompthub.com, a short-lived access token may be copied into the extension's local storage so the side panel can call our API. Sign out on the website clears it.
  • Page context: If you generate from the extension, we may send the active tab's URL and title to improve the engineered prompt.
  • Selected text: If you use the context menu "Enhance with prooompthub", your selection is passed to the side panel and then to our API when you generate.
  • Site access: The extension runs a small script on prooompthub.com for sign-in sync and on supported AI/writing sites only to read selections when you ask — not to browse unrelated pages.

Cookies and analytics

The web app uses cookies for session management. We may use analytics (e.g. Firebase Analytics, PostHog) if enabled, to understand product usage in aggregate.

Retention and security

We retain account and prompt history according to your plan and legal obligations. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to production systems is restricted.

Your choices

You can delete your account (sign-in required) from our secure deletion page, from Settings, uninstall the extension at any time, and contact us to request access or deletion of personal data where applicable.
